Pradip Chakraborty Young Indian Artist - Fantasy

Born on 7th January, 1976, Pradip is the most well received of the new era of Indian artists who are working on innovative themes like fantasy landscapes and sci-fi visuals. Unlike, his mentors, Pradip draws his inspiration from his travels in the foothills of the Himalayas which later helped him in his studio to conjure a vision of what Tennyson says, "nature red in tooth and claw" mixed with phantasmagoria and magic realism. He is a Bachelor of Science from Calcutta University and a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Govt College of Art & Craft under Calcutta University.
