On 23 September 2019, the UN Secretary-General will convene the Climate Action Summit in New York to boost ambition and rapidly accelerate action to implement the Paris Agreement.

As preparation for the upcoming Summit, a briefing will be held on Wednesday, 7 August, for civil society. NGO representatives with valid UN Ground Passes will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis, on the capacity of the conference room.
