RUSSIAN CHAMBER CHORUS OF NEW YORK Nikolai Kachanov, Conductor The Russian Chamber Chorus of New York (RCCNY) invites you to hear rarely heard gems of the Slavic choral tradition in a program embracing the musical spirits of Russia and Ukraine. Our unique program will uplift your spirit with otherworldly music by Berezovsky, Bortnyansky, Grechaninoff, Rachmaninoff, among other composers. You will hear early Russian polyphony, Four Ukrainian Carols arranged by Maestro Kachanov, Two Carols by the renowned Ukrainian composer Lesia Dychko, and world premiere of the radiant Christmas Song by Mikhail Zeiger. The program concludes with a festive celebration as the chorus is joined by the Tamara Volskaya’s Folk Trio playing Fantasy on Folk Ukrainian Songs.
