With Short Stories we have ventured into the creation of a Dancert, a mix between a dance performance and a concert. Based on the music of Thomas Mauerhofer and Klaus Wienerroither Short Stories is a collection of vignettes that take us on a journey around the world. The dancers Koto Aoki and Lindsay Alford interact with the music and musicians alike to create a communication between sound and movement. The choreography of Christina Medina aims to provide both, a visual and acoustical experience.

The guitar players Klaus Wienerroither and Thomas Mauerhofer composed for this evening jazzy to experimental world-music and play it live. Bodies can be plucked like strings, strings can be choreographed like bodies.
